A New Adventure for the La Pradera Community
In 2025, Pacific Play Systems, Southern California’s trusted leader in commercial playground equipment and installation, proudly completed an exciting playground project at La Pradera South Park in Winchester, California. This is one of two separate playground projects we’ve delivered for the La Pradera community, both of which opened to residents over Labor Day weekend, giving families a fun and memorable way to celebrate the holiday. A Nature-Inspired Playground for Winchester Families
La Pradera South Park brings the outdoors into play with a rich brown and forest green color palette, accented by forest tree-inspired structures that spark imagination and adventure. The playground features two separate play areas, each designed to offer something unique for children of all ages.
Slides, Swings, and Spinning Fun Galore
Each playground area includes a mix of classic and spiral slides, providing both gentle thrills and adventurous spins. Families will love the swings, suitable for multiple ages, while spinners add an exciting, interactive element that encourages active play. The variety ensures that every child can find a favorite spot to climb, slide, or spin.
Safe and Vibrant PIP Surfacing
To complement the forest-themed design, the playground is installed over durable PIP (pour-in-place) surfacing, which enhances safety while integrating beautifully with the brown and green theme. The surfacing not only cushions active play but also visually ties together the slides, swings, spinners, and tree-inspired accents into a cohesive, inviting play space.

Two Projects, One Community
The South Park playground is just the beginning — Pacific Play Systems also completed a North Park playground within La Pradera, providing additional recreational space for the community. Both parks opened over Labor Day weekend, giving residents double the fun and showcasing our ability to deliver multiple, custom-designed play areas with creativity and consistency.
