New Playcraft Playground Equipment Installed by Pacific Play Systems at Park Crest HOA in San Bernardino
Pacific Play Systems has just put the final touches on a new San Bernardino playground equipment project at Park Crest HOA in the Bloomington area. At the beginning of the project, Park Crest’s large and grassy outdoor recreation area contained one existing play structure that the HOA decided was due for an upgrade. Partnering with Pacific Play, this existing playground was replaced with a brand-new Playcraft playground. Additionally, Pacific Play also expanded Park Crest’s available play space by creating three additional play areas with new safety surfacing meant to complement the main playground. The San Bernardino playground equipment project at Park Crest has added an incredible wealth of new play opportunities to this San Bernardino HOA.
Featuring a gorgeous color scheme of dark and light blues, forest green, lime green, and spots of yellow, Park Crest’s main playground will provide an exciting variety of play opportunities. Custom designed by Pacific Play and Playcraft Systems designers, the new play structure was designed for the broadest age group: children ages two to twelve. The playground contains multiple slides including a Double Wave and a Twister Slide, as well as a variety of climbers such as an Arch Climber, Inclined Grip Wall, and Disc Climber. Other popular components include a Store Panel for imaginative play, as well as a Seat Wall both installed at ground level. Additionally, Park Crest’s new playground contains an attractive twelve-foot Square Shade Canopy for sun and heat protection.
As mentioned earlier, Pacific Play not only renovated Park Crest’s main play area but the company also added three additional play spaces. In the largest of these spaces, Pacific Play installed a Playcraft T-Swing accompanied by three Playcraft Spring Riders for younger children. In the second play space, Pacific Play installed a Single-Post Swing with Belt Seats, and in the third space Pacific Play installed the kid-favorite Playcraft Merry-Go-Round.
Pre-construction site work was another aspect to this San Bernardino playground equipment project. This site work included the excavation, removal and hauling of approximately 190 cubic yards of dirt and sod located throughout the four play areas. This site material was removed to make room for new engineered wood fibers safety surfacing. Approximately 220 cubic yards of wood fibers were installed at Park Crest as soon as the playground’s installation was complete.
With the Park Crest project now complete, the new playground equipment will provide significantly increased play opportunities at the HOA’s already beautiful park.
