Escondido HOA Playground Equipment Installation Completed by Pacific Play Systems, Inc.

San Diego-based commercial playground company, Pacific Play Systems, has just completed the renovation of an Escondido HOA playground facility. This latest project took place at Escondido Highlands, a local HOA located only twenty minutes away from Pacific Play’s Carlsbad office. At the start of the project, this grassy, lush play space contained an older existing playground with sand surfacing that had finally come in need of replacement. Pacific Play Systems was chosen by the HOA to replace the existing equipment and surfacing. For the HOA, Pacific Play furnished and installed a new state-of-the-art custom-designed Playcraft playground and new engineered wood fiber.

The new play structure was designed for children ages 5-12, and features an attractive “citrus” color scheme. This natural color scheme dominated by dark and lime green, and brown, with accents of orange, blends wonderfully into the already green surroundings. And the bright orange climbers, clamps, and other components add a wonderful contrast to the playground’s natural color palette.

Not only does this playground feature a great color scheme, but the playground also offers an activity-packed design expertly crafted by Pacific Play and Playcraft designers. The medium-sized playground contains several different exciting slides, numerous ground level and elevated activity panels and a variety of climbing opportunities. Additionally, the playground features several Playcraft Shingled Gable Rooftops placed at varying heights above each of the playground’s multiple decks. Adjacent to the new playground, the HOA’s circular sandbox features both a new Playcraft T-Rex DinoDig and a Lizard DinoDig for those treasure-seeking adventurers! These unique flat dinosaur and lizard shaped tiles are hidden beneath the sand so children can unearth them by digging!

For this project, Pacific Play also provided various playground related products including two new Playcraft Classic Series six-foot-long benches and 1,800 square feet of new engineered wood fibers. Pacific Play also completed a variety of site work for the project prior to the beginning of the installation, including the removal of the HOA’s existing sand surfacing and more. Installation of the playground equipment for this project as well as the site work was done by American Park Specialties. The completion of this new Escondido HOA playground provides the residents with an awesome play space for families to enjoy for many, many years to come!
