Corona Playground Equipment Project Completed – New Playground Equipment Installed at Promenade Terrace Apartments by Pacific Play Systems
Pacific Play Systems has just completed its latest Corona playground equipment project at Promenade Terrace Apartments, located in the city of Corona in Riverside, CA. Involving the removal of the apartment complex’s existing playground and its replacement with a new custom-designed Playcraft playground, the project has brought an incredible new look and dramatically increased play value to Promenade’s playground area. The Promenade renovation project is the latest in a group of playground projects play industry leader Pacific Play has completed in conjunction with Bridge Property Management, including a project at the Enclave and a project at the Redlands Lawn and Tennis Club, both located in Riverside, CA.
The new Playcraft playground at Promenade Apartments has been custom designed by Pacific Play designers for children in the 5-12 age-group. The playground contains a brightly-colored primary color scheme and no shortage of fun, challenging, and unique play components providing the absolute best possible play experience. A selection of these components include an inclined arch bridge, a tall and challenging 5’ Track Climber, multiple ground-level Play Seats providing the perfect place for rest and socialization, three different types of slides, and much more. And the hot summer months will not stop the children from getting full use of this amazing new play system as a 20′ wide by 30′ long by 12′ tall freestanding, “Hip Canopy” shade structure has also been furnished and installed by Pacific Play as part of this renovation project. This attractive, durable, royal blue shade structure will provide complete sun and heat protection all throughout the playground’s use zone for many, many years.
Pacific Play installers also renovated the play site’s existing poured-in-place rubberized safety surfacing as an additional aspect to the Promenade project. Pacific Play first removed and disposed of the site’s older, existing rubberized surfacing, and then installed approximately 1,120 square feet of brand-new, vibrantly hued blue poured-in-place rubberized safety surfacing. Other site work for the project included: reconditioning and re-compacting of the sub-base all around the play system; demolition, hauling, and disposal of the existing playground; and full installation services for the playground and shade structure. Additionally, Pacific Play completed various concrete work including saw cutting and jack hammering the concrete slab around the play area to meet all playground safety use zone requirements.
The Corona playground equipment renovation project has brought Promenade residents a special new place for children to play, socialize and spend time outdoors, and represents the third highly successful project completed together by Pacific Play Systems and Bridge Property Management.
